Love

Finally I get to keep a Love quilt.  I've qulted about six of these quilts now and every time I have to give one back I really wish I could keep it.  Well this one is all mine!  This pattern is from Tula Pink and I used her Prince Charming fabric for the letters.  It makes up so fast.  I think I made it in a couple of hours.  I really love pebbles and swirls so that's what I did on mine too. Here are a few pictures.

I love these rain drops on the back of the quilt!

I made a New Year's resolution to quilt at least one of my quilts each month this year.  January is almost done and my quilt is complete including binding.  Pretty darn happy about that!  Hope you're having a good week and taking some time to make a quilt!

  1. So beautiful! I just love how your swirls work. Do you have any advice on how to do them to make them look connected like that instead of in a row. I really want to master a free motion swirl!

    1. You should invest in Angela Walter's quilting books. She gives detailed pictures of how to quilt these swirls. You will love both of them. Great resource.

  5. This quilt is the perfect valentine gift for a loved one. I like your quilting style. Cuddle up in your quilt. I have Angela Walters first book and it really teaches you to quilt nice swirls after several hours of practice on paper and fabric. She also teaches a class on craftsy.
