Kristen's Quilt

Another quilt for Kristen....I quilted an allover pantograph called "Popcorn" on this one.
The fabrics were really cute....look at those bicycles in the black border.
The center black squares were skull and cross bones.  Very cute to mix them in with all the other fabrics.
Thanks for taking a look.  Have a great rest of your Sunday!

Always Kiss Me Good Night!

This is a quilt made by Kristen....it is her version of the Tula Pink alaphabet pattern.  It reads "Always Kiss Me Good Night!"  She wanted swirls in the back grouund and lines on the letters like the quilt that Tula Pink made.  She sent me some pictures and I did my best.  Angela the quilter for Tula Pink is an awesome machine quilter so I was a little nervous trying to get this to look like one of her quilts.  I think it turned out really cool!

Thanks for looking.  It has turned cold here today.  I'm so glad I have lots of quilts to snuggle under.

Kathy and Kristen's Quilts

This is a quilt that Kathy made....I quilted a new pantograph I bought called "Antique Lace" on it.

Here is a quilt I quilted up for Kristen.  I have been wanting to try straight lines on a quilt for sometime.  One of my favorite blogs Jenny's Doodling Needle here uses this technique quite often so I asked her for some advice.  She was very generous and gave me some tips on how to achieve this.  I was very afraid but just went for it like she said to.  Turned out really nice.  Thanks so much Jenny!

The backing fabric was so pretty!  Had to share it too.  I love how the lines look on the back!

Thanks so much for taking a look.

Gorgeous Quilt!

This is another quilt by Kristen....I love the fabrics.  It kind of has an old fashioned feel to it.  I decided to quilt the "Baptist Fan" on it and it turned out wonderful.  I was very pleased with how it looked.

Look at these gorgeous fabrics. Thanks for taking a look.

Quilting Again for Kristen!

I thought I would take this quilt outside to photograph.  I should be out back pulling all the weeds that are on our hill but I'd rather show you some quilts.  Kristen at Stash has been so busy.  I still have four more quilts to share with you that she has made.  I'm going to post a really amazing one tomorrow or Monday.  Stay tuned....

It's really hard to see the pattern I quilted but it is called "Arabesque". I really like how it turned out and am anxious to try this pattern on another quilt sometime.
Here is a quilt made from fabrics called "Make Life" by Moda.  Kristen printed some family names and important messages to her family on the blocks.  I quilted "Hearts and Flowers" all over it.

Isn't the back cute?  I had a lot of fun quilting this one.
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend.  The weather is beautiful here.

Kristen's Quilts

Here are two more of Kristen's quilts.  She has been very busy.  I love this Christmas quilt.  I quilted Chantilly Lace on it.  Turned out adorable.

Here is another quilt that Kristen made with Michael Miller fabric "Sanctuary".  They are selling kits of this quilt at Stash in Walla Walla.  Very cute quilt.  I quilted hearts and flowers on it.

Thanks for stopping by.

Mike's Quilt

Mike made the mask that is in the middle of this Africian themed quilt.  He asked if I could build a quilt around the mask.  He had purchased all the fabrics, some coming from England and he had a plan of how he wanted his quilt to look.  I put this together for him and machine quilted an all over stipple on it.

He did a great job of creating this mask.  I told him he should just make the masks as wall hangings.
Thanks for taking a look.
