Kristen's Buttlerfly Quilt

Kristen from Stash made this quilt as a pattern tester for Tula Pink for her new "Butterfly" pattern that will be out next month.  She used Tula's fabrics "The Birds and The Bees".  Stash will have kits of this quilt out next month in these same fabrics and then in September in "Acacia", Tula's new line. Yummy!  They take online orders and telephone orders too!  Great service at Stash! I will be making this quilt for sure! Here are some pictures....I hope you enjoy them.

Lots of detailed quilting went on here.  I tried to quilt the feathers similiar to how Angela Walters quilted the original.  Her version was amazing.  Thanks Kristen for letting me quilt this amazing quilt for you!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Happy Quilting!

  2. Golly!!!!! I have looked and looked at those photos. Amazing work. Did you mark those feathers to get them so nice and balanced? So lovely.. I am without a quilting machine at the moment so I am having to make do with dreaming about quilting and sucking up inspiration.

  5. Beautiful. I loved seeing these on Instagram, but they are even more impressive in a larger size. Your feathers are amazing, so well balanced and they flow so gracefully through the quilt.
