Here is Cheryl's beautiful quilt that she made for her daughter's wedding gift. She asked me to custom quilt it modern! So I went to work and this is what I came up with.
The back was pretty too!
And of course a picture of it all folded up and ready to go home! I love the texture of this quilt and her fabrics were so simple and clean looking. Love it! Thanks for letting me quilt for you Cheryl. I had a lot of fun! Have a great day!
Hi Everyone! I hope you like my new blog look. The fabulous Casey over at Hot Bliggity Blog helped me out with my updates. I have struggled with updating it for so long and just didn't have the time to mess with it. Casey took my information and had my blog all fixed up in no time! I would highly recomend her if there are other people out there that would like an update but struggle with how to accomplish it. She is very reasonable with her prices too! Thanks so much Casey, I love my new updated blog look.
Now for some pictures of some quilts!
Here are a couple more beautiful quilts from Debbbie. This first one I custom quilted for her. Lots of swirls.
This second one is for her grand kids. It's a really bright and happy quilt. I quilted an all over pantograph called "Interlocking Squares" on this one.
I hope you had a fabulous weekend. Thanks for letting me quilt these for your Debbie. Have a great week everyone and Happy Quilting!
Here is my Granny Square Quilt that I made from a free tutorial on the Moda Bake Shop. I used Sweetwater's new line called "Noteworthy". I absolutely love this line of fabric. It's so simple and the colors are just refreshing. I wanted to keep it simple so I just quilted straight lines on it.
And a little sneak peek....This is a quilt I shared a while back with you....I've been trying to get all my unfinished quilts done this year so I'm quilting a couple of my own each month. I still need to add the binding on to this one and then I will share the whole quilt. I'm in love with this one! I made it out of Tula Pink's
fabric "Saltwater" and used Julie Herman's Hex n' More ruler. It went together really fast. Just cut 2-1/2 inch strips and sewed them together then cut the hexagons out with my fun new ruler. Makes these hexagons a snap!
Isn't this fabric amazing? I love the texture of the quilting as the light was coming in the windows in my sewing room. Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you find some time to do a little quilting.
Here are a couple quilts that Joyce made. She is an excellent quilter and her quilts are always put together so nicely. This first one she made for a nephew for a wedding gift next month. I quilted "Paisley Playtime" on it.
This second one is a Thimbleberries block of the month from a couple years ago that she finsihed up. I quilted "Filigree" on this one. It turned out really simple and nice.
Thanks for letting me quilt for you Joyce! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I got to spend some time at my favorite quilt store "Stash". I spent the day sewing with Kristen, Kathy and Ann and several of my customers came to see me. I always love to see everyone when I visit. Had such a great day. Thanks Stash Gals for always making my visits sew much fun!
Kathy at my favorite quilt shop Stash made up this adorable "Won Ton" quilt (a pattern by Jaybird) out of some beautiful batik fabrics. I quilted a new pantograph called "Seaweed" on it. This is the first time I've used this one and I love it! Will definitely be using this again soon.
So very beautiful on the back too! Happy Quilting.
Here is a beautiful quilt made by Barbara. She has been working on this one for years and finally decided to finish it. Turned out beautiful. It was a big one. 110 x 110. I quilted an all over pantograph on it called "Ground Cover".
Here is a beautiful quilt made by Venus. This pattern is from Natalia over at Piece N Quilt . It's called Skittles. Venus used fabrics from V and Co. "Simply Color" with her ombre background. It looks like the sun is hitting the center of the quilt but that is actually the fabric. Isn't it cool? I quilted flowing swirls all over it and just love how this turned out.
Beautiful Quilt! Thanks for letting me quilt this for you Venus. Happy Monday everyone! Find some time to do a little quilting.
