Amy's Quilt

Here is a quilt I custom machine quilted for Amy...turned out so beautiful.  The colors of those leaves were so beautiful that I did not want to quilt over the top of them.  I think it turned out well.

Thanks for taking a look.  I have been busy running my longarm all day today.  More to show tomorrow.

Cloudy Days

Here is a quilt I made from the new  Tula Pink book.  It's called Cloudy Days and it's a wonderful way to use those fabrics that you just can't cut up because the prints are too cool.  I used her fabric line "Prince Charming".  I absolutely love this fabric.  I've been saving this fabric for a few months waiting for the perfect project and I'm so glad I waited for her book.  The quilts are amazing in this book.   I especially love the Frog Prince fabric.  Way too cute!

Here is a close up of the frog prince piece.  It's the big raindrop in the middle.  I love this block so much.
I can't wait to quilt this little puppy up.  Thanks for taking a look and I hope you all have a very nice weekend.

Cathy's Quilt

Here is another quilt I did for Cathy.  She wanted it quilted just like I did Debbie's a few posts ago.  Turned out fabulous. Probably way too many pictures but Cathy used some amazing fabrics so I must show it off.

On another note....the fabulous Angela Walters at quiltingismytherapy.com commented on a quilt I did for Debbie which was a "Love" quilt by Tula Pink.  My customer wanted it quilted just like the one I did for another customer Kristen.  Kristen brought her Love quilt to me and asked if I could quilt it like the one on Tula Pink's pattern which was quilted by Angela Walters. Angela commented about my quilts on her blog.  Can you see me jumping around like crazy right now.  I'm so excited that someone that important would even notice my blog.  Thank you, Angela!  You are truly an inspiration to me.

Happy quilting!

Laura's Quilt

This is a cute little lap quilt my cousin Laura made up out of flannel.  I quilted "Paisley Playtime" on it.

This is going to be a nice cuddly quilt to snuggle up with in the winter time.  Hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday.  We had a gorgeous day here.  I went for a walk and got to enjoy some sunshine.

Cathy's Quilt

This is Cathy's Quilt.  It's a classic Lone Star quilt called Nellie's Star.  It was designed by Laurie Gustafson and featured in McCalls Quilting magazine in 2010.  The fabrics she used were very calming and kind of had an old fashioned look to them so we decided to quilt "Baptist Fans" on it.  I like how the back turned out too.

This is my Aunt Jan's table runner.  She went to Sew Expo in Seatle this month and purchased this ruler from Sew Kind of Wonderful's Jenny Pedigo (You can get this ruler here at sewkindofwonderful.blogspot.com).  She quickly made up this table runner and brought it over for me to quilt.  She made hers out of batik fabrics.  It's very springy and will look wonderful on her table.

I started piecing a really cool quilt last night from Tula Pink's new book.  It's called "Cloudy Days" and I'm using her line of fabric called "Prince Charming"  It is so fun and I stayed up way too late last night piecing it.  I"ll share some pictures soon of my progress.

Have a great day sewing today....I know I will.  Happy Quilting!

Eva's Quilt

This is Eva's cute little snowman quilt.  She wanted "Popcorn" quilted on it so it would look like snow or clouds.

 The back is cute too.

Look at this little cutie!  She is acting like she is just the perfect little princess here in this picture but really what she wants to do is pounce on a customer quilt.  She knows she can't so she has to sit here and be nice.  It's hard for her to do.  She is now 5-1/2 months old.  We think she weighs about 4 pounds.  She is a little ball of energy but gives us lots of enjoyment.

Thanks for looking....I hope you're having a great day!

Debbie's Quilt

Here is Debbie's quilt....she has named it Charlotte's Web after her favorite childhood book.  She has a talent for picking out fabrics that look great together.  I quilted a teardrop shape in the white areas and wavy line circles in the web's.

Here it is all folded up on my cutting table.  I get to keep until Thursday when it will be going home.  At least I get to enjoy it for a few more days.  Absolutely love how it turned out.  Thanks, Debbie!

Jan's Quilt

Look at this beauty I had the pleasure of quilting this week.  It belongs to my Aunt Jan...she did a fabulous job putting this baby together.  The colors were just amazing....all batiks.

I really think it turned out nice...she was happy with it so that made my day!  Hope you are all having a great weekend.

Here are a couple little quilts I quilted for my family....My Aunt Jan brought me this little table runner that she made and asked me to quilt it for her.  It was really fun to quilt.

This little quilt was made by my cousin Laura....Jan's daughter.

They both turned out adorable and were so much fun to quilt.  I love little stuff like tis to practice some custom type quilting on.

Janet's Quilt

This is Janet's quilt.  She made this for her son and she let him pick the quilting pattern. He wanted all over swirls. I love how it turned out.

It was our 26th Wedding Anniversary on Thursday and my dear husband had 26 red roses delivered to me at work.  Boy are they gorgeous.  They are home now on my table.  I'm so lucky to have him.

One more thing.....have you heard about the Quick Curve Ruler yet by Jenny Pedigo at Sew Kind of Wonderful?  She is having a giveaway of one of her newest patterns and a ruler.  You should head on over there and sign up.  I have one and several of her patterns and absolutely love it!  Best new tool out there if you ask me.  So many possibilties.  You can find her blog here.  She will announce the winner on Monday morning so go sign up!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Chris' Quilts

Here are a couple more quilts that Chris made....This gray and white one was so gorgeous.  I quilted continuous lines in the squares and pebbles and a small stipple in the star area and borders.  This was a small quilt 40 x 40 so I thought the small scale on the stipple worked well.
I always love all the texture that the pebbles create.  I like to put the quilt in front of window so I can see all of them. I really wish I could keep this one.  Sure is beautiful.

This is a neat retro style quilt.  It has the old time typewriters on it and many really cool sayings.  I quilted straight lines on it so as to not take away from the pictures.  I think it came out great.

Thanks so much for taking a look.  These two quilts were so fun to do.  Thanks Chris!
