Quilt Market

Okay....so I'm back from Quilt Market and boy was it fun!  My pictures are pretty crazy and not really in order but  you will just have to bear with me.  I want to share with you and I've been running low on time.  So here it goes.  Here I am walking into quilt market.

This is Kristen from Stash and me standing by Kristen's quilt she made and I quilted for her.  It is a quilt she made as a pattern tester for Patty Young.  It was displayed in the Moda Booth!!!!  We were both very excited to have our quilt on display.
Look at this adorable camper display for a new Moda Fabric line called "Glamping"  too cute!
I was on the look out for Jaybird Quilts.  There were several on display.
Jaybird's new pattern pattern coming out called Traffic.  The quilting was beautiful on this one.  Another great job by Angela Walters
Another one here:  Science Project.  Love it!

Patty Young in her booth.  She was so cute and nice!  Glad to have met her.
Oh and lookie here....this is one of my very favorite fellow long arm quilters, Jenny Pedigo of Sew Kind of Wonderful.  She created the Quick Curve Ruler and she was so sweet to meet.  Her quilting is amazing and she has been so helpful to me with my long arm quilting adventures.  Thank you Jenny!
This is one amazing quilt that she designed and quilted.  You really need to pop over to her blog and check it out.  Amazing!!!!
Here is Ty Pennington. We were lucky enough to get our picture with him.
And a sweet picture of Julie Herman of Jaybird Quilts demonstrating her new Hex ruler.  I already have mine and just need some time to cut something out sew.  She is genius!
This is Jenny's sister Helen.  She is also very talented like the fabulous Jenny and together they are designing patterns to go with the Quick Curve Ruler.  Here is one of Helen's designs.  Absolutely loved it!  Her quilting was fabulous too.

Here is one of Tula Pink's new patterns with her new fabric line Salt Water.  This fabric line is going to be a must have.
Natalia Bonner's quilt from her book.  She is from Piece n Quilt.  This quilt is fabulous.
 Another Tula Pink Quilt

And the great Tula Pink!  I really enjoy her.  She is just fun.  Her booth was amazing.
This is her new quilt called Hex on the Beach.  She is going to have Hex kits for sale with pre-cut hexagons ready to sew into this fun quilt.  She hand pieced this baby in a couple weeks I believe. It was amazing.  I have no idea how she was able to pull that off but I'm sure glad she did.  Love it!
And look at me....I was so lucky to get one of Julie Herman's books signed by her.  I just love all that she does and it was really fun to meet her.  She is wonderful.  Such a talented lady.  I'm just waiting for her to design some fabric.  I'm sure that will be coming one day.

And last I must show a picture of my sweet cousin Laura!  We had such a fun time together laughing and she was able to meet Kristen from Stash.  All of us girls had a ton of fun. Laura really loved this Bernina!  Look
at her giving it a hug.

Oh and I can't forget....I finally got to meet Natalia in person.  She is just the sweetest.  She is responsible for me starting my long arm business.  She quilted the most beautiful quilt for me and I just asked her if she thought I should try it and she said to "Go for it".  I'm so grateful that she did.  Thanks, Natalia!  It was great meeting you.
Well, I hope you enjoyed all the pictures.  I sure had a lot of fun hanging out with Kristen and Laura and all the wonderful people in the quilting world.  Until next time.  Happy Quilting!

  1. Wow! What an amazing adventure! I love love love Helen's quilt, so beautiful! Thanks for sharing your pictures looks like you had such a fun time. Tula seems like family after taking her class, I really like her new salt water line and quilt designs, but those hexagons look very time consuming.....hum. Happy sewing, and I'm so glad Natalia encouraged you to "go for it".
