Mary's Quilt

Mary made this beautiful Metro Rings from a pattern by Jenny Pedigo of Sew Kind of Wonderful.  Mary did an excellent job adding her own little touch to this quilt.  I always tease her that she needs to "Mary it up".  That means she does this fabulous hand embroidery.  She likes her blocks to be different and have all kinds of fun things quilted in it.  We call it a "Arty Party"

She saw this wonderful dragonfly on Judi Madsen's blog over at the Green Fairy.  Judi has this cute little dragonfly template for sale in her shop.  Well, I purchased it and went to work.  It turned out pretty cute!  Thanks, Judi for the amazing idea! Also quilted some fun flowers on it too!

Thanks so much for letting me quilt this for you Mary!  It's truly a beautiful work of art with your added embroidery touches!  One of a kind quilt!  Happy Quilting!

  1. Pretty quilt and great quilting! I was so close to buying the ruler and metro hoops this past weekend at the Wi Quilt Expo, but opted to purchase Science Fair instead...now just need to find time to get it done! :)
