Betty's Quilt

One of the best things about having a longarm business is getting to meet some really wonderful people and for that I am very grateful.  I had the pleasure of making a new quilting friend this week.  Her name is Betty and she is such a sweet lady.  She made this quilt for her granddaughter for Christmas out of her granddaughter's baby clothes and some of her three daughter's baby clothes.  It was made with lots of love and she could tell you about all the different fabrics she used and who they belonged to.  Very cool!

The little applique patterns on the ends of the bottom row were from some dresses, I believe.  She cut the little panels off of them and stiched them on blocks.
She chose "Frisky Feathers" for the design and it really looked neat on the back since it was a solid piece of muslin.  Turned out adorable.
Thanks for letting me quilt for you Betty!  So nice to meet you.  Have a wonderful weekend!
