And One more for Laura

Okay...this is another piece of work by my cousin Laura!  This quilt was pieced beautifully.  Diamonds are not easy to put together and check out the mitered corners on the outside border.  There is no way I would even attempt that!!!!  Amazing.  I quilted "Chantilly Lace" on it. 

Thanks for letting me quilt these for you Laura.  Laura and I are off on a quilting adventure at the end of the month.  We are going to Quilt Market!!!!  Can't believe it but it really is true!  I will be taking lots of pictures and  hopefully learning some new stuff. Laura's Quilt - Again!

This is another beauty done by Laura....it looks like stained glass windows.  I quilted the pantograph "Plaza" on it.

She did some more creative piecing on the backing.  Really turned out nice.

Laura's Quilt

Here is a quilt that my cousin Laura made for a Christmas gift for someone.  Isn't it beautiful?  It reminded us of water so we decided on the pantograph "Bayside".  Love how this turned out!

Look at this cute little piecing she did on the back.  It reminds me of a window looking out onto the forest. The backing fabric is pine cones.  So beautiful! Laura's been busy....I have two more quilts to show you this week.  Stay tuned....and quilt on!

Emily's Quilt

Here's a cute little quilt that I custom quilted for Emily. I quilted paisley's in between the cute little ruffles.  Turned out adorable.

Venus' Quilts

This is my new customer Venus' quilts.  I met her when I went to meet Tula Pink and we made this Stacks Quilt together.  She made hers out of "Parisville" fabric by Tula Pink.  She asked me to quilt the pantograph "Baptist Fan" on it.  It sure made it soft!  I really love the outcome of it.   

 Look at the back of her quilt....this fabric is just amazing!

 This quilt is a Tula Pink pattern with Amy Butler fabric. Isn't it gorgeous?  I quilted "Ground Cover" all over it.  I really wish I could keep some of these quilts.  This one is really bright and happy.  Love it so much!

 This is the back of her Amy Butler quilt.

 This is a small quilt made out of Patty Young's fabric "Andalucia".  So pretty.  I quilted "Frisky Feathers" on it.

Leah's Quilt

Here is a quilt that Leah made for her husband for a Christmas present.  She wanted some dense quilting becuase this quilt is going to be used a lot!  I quilted a pantograph called "Ground Cover" on it.  This has been popular lately with my customers.  It quilts up so beautiful.

Fair Quilts

I have wanted to share this with you for the last week.  I was so excited to go to our State Fair and see how my quilts did.  Lookie here....I was thrilled to see they all earned blue ribbons.  Here is my Stacks quilt from my weekend with Tula Pink. 

 My Fast Forward quilt made with a Jaybird pattern.

 My Tula Pink "Snow Globes" Night Shade quilt

 And my Tula Pink "Rain Drop" Quilt made with Prince Charming.

 And several of my customer's quilts earned some blue ribbons too.  I was so excited to see their work displayed.  The next two are Eva's quilts.  Beautiful.

 And if you can believe this....Barb's first quilt and she earned a blue ribbon!  Yay!

 And of course Gayle's quilts...I missed getting pictures of her beautiful lonestar quilts but these next two were done by Gayle.  Gorgeous.

I must say that all the quilts at the fair this year were amazing.  We happen to have some very talented quilters in our area.  The work was just outstanding!  I had to drag my husband in for a third time to look at all these fine quilts again.  He is such a good sport when it comes to my hobby. I'm very lucky to have such a supportive husband. I'm so happy my quilts are now home safe with me again.  I missed them.   Hope you're having a good week and getting to sew a little bit!
