Marilyn and Mary's Quilt

Marilyn and Mary made this Ballerina quilt for a dear friend who they had the pleasure of going on a golfing vacation with.  They wanted to make something really special for her.  I think they did an amazing job.  This pattern is by Julie Herman of Jaybird Quilts.  The fabric is Moda "Little Black Dress".  They wanted feathers and pebbles.

    oh I love it-I'm trying so hard to not buy that entire fabric line (Little Black Dress) but this is the 3rd or 4th quilt I've seen made with it that is just fantastic!
