Swooning!

Here is quilt number 4 for Kristen from Stash.  Isn't it beautiful?  She made it from Tula Pink's fabric line "Prince Charming".  When she asked me to custom quilt it I had some ideas but I looked for a little inspiration at one of my favorite blogs quiltingismytherapy by Angela Walters.  I then added a little bit of pebbles and a couple of other patterns I like to do and this is what I came up with.  I used two pieces of Warm and Natural batting and I just love how it turned out.  Look at these blocks...they are so cute.

Look at this cute little pin cushion that I received in the mail on Saturday.  It is from my cousin Laura.  She handmade this especially for me and it is so adorable.  It fits perfectly on my sewing table.  Thank you so much Laura!  I love it!

I sure had a lot of fun quilting this quilt.  I'm in the process of making my own Swoon quilt too.  I have 6 blocks made and I plan to make 12...I tell you it is addictive and I'm already planning another one.  This is just an amazing quilt pattern that you can get over at Thimble Blossoms by Camille Roskelley.  I love her patterns and her fabrics.  Thanks for stopping by.

Kitchen Windows

Okay...this is quilt number 3 from Kristen from the last bunch I picked up from her.  She is a quilt making machine.  This quilt is called Kitchen Windows and it is the second one I've quilted for her.  The first one I quilted straight lines on it so this one we decided on wavy lines.  I love how it turned out. The fabrics she used were just goregous.

I hope you had a fabulous weekend....I had a very busy weekend quilting, of course!  I have an amazing quilt to show you tomorrow.  It's quilt 4 for Kristen.  Stop back by tomorrow evening and I hope to post some more pictures.  Thanks for taking  a look.

Funky Fans

Here is another one of Kristen's Quilts.  She has a knack for picking fabrics for her quilts.  To keep this more modern looking we decided to quilt a new pantograph I have now called "Funky Fans".  I love the modern look it gave the quilt.

Look at this quilt all folded up.  Isn't it just beautiful?  I love all the wonderful colors.  Thanks for taking a look.

Kristen's Quilt

Here is another quilt that Kristen did from Stash, a quilt shop in Walla Walla.  I quilted an all over pantograph "Ground Cover " on it.  This is a new one for me and boy do I love it.  These fabrics were so beautiful...I believe these are Fig Tree fabrics by Moda.  They were so soft.  I can't imagine how soft this quilt is going to be once she washes it.  It is going to crinkle up so beautiful.

Thanks for letting me quilt for you Kristen!  Your quilt is gorgeous.

Jan's Quilts

Here are a couple of quilts my Aunt Jan made.  She made his and hers matching lap quilts for their family room.  She made both of these quilts from leftover pieces of Thimbleberries fabrics she has colleced over the years. I quilted an allover pantograph "Kudzu" on the first one for her.

And on this one I quilted "Spiral Squares" for him.

They both turned out great! Thanks for taking a look.

Chris' Quilts

Here are a couple of quilts I machine quilted for Chris....the first one is called Clothes line.  I quilted spiral squares on it.

 Love this backing fabric.
Here is a cute little bed runner she made up.  I think she is doing a whole bedroom in this fabric.  I quilted the pantograph Arasbesque on it.  It was kind of hard to see the quilting on it.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

Laura's Quilts

Here are some cute quilts I machine quilted for my cousin Laura.  She is always making the cutest stuff.  She made this cute little table topper or wall hanging and she wanted it to be quilted more modern.  I think it turned out pretty cute.  I decided not to quilt the pinwheels since I quilted pebbles around them and it kind of made them look like they were spinning.

Here is another cute quilt she made.  It's a lap size quilt and the fabrics were just gorgeous.  She asked for "Frisky Feathers" for this one.  It is one of her favorites now.

Hope you're having a great week.  Happy Quilting!

JoAnne's Quilt

Look at this beauty!  JoAnne made this quilt for her Aunt who is turning 100 years old in May.  These are fabrics that her aunt collected over 50 years of her life and only made two quilts in her entire lifetime.  You can imagine the stash of fabric this lady must have collected.  JoAnne decided to make a quilt for aunt's birthday out of these fabrics. She choice to make a quilt out of traditional blocks and she wanted it to have an old fashioned feel to it.  We decided on Baptist Fans for this beauty.  I think it turned out so pretty.

I love how the back looks too!  Thanks so much for letting me quilt this special quilt for you JoAnne!  It sure turned out gorgeous.

Lori's Quilt

Here is Lori's quilt.  It is a Christmas quilt that I think was pieced with a jelly roll.  I quilted an all over stipple on it.

Let me tell you about my fun weekend....I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Walla Walla and see my Brother and Sis in law.  They are doing well.  I also got to visit my favorite quilt shop, Stash!  Kathy, Kristen and Ann run this wonderful quilt shop and I must tell you when you walk in the door it is totally inspiring.  They have quilts made up in all kinds of fabrics hung up and everywhere and they make you feel right at home.  They have all the new lines of fabrics and they are just so helpful.  I tell you if you ever get to Walla Walla you must go to Stash.  It is such a fun place to be.  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend too!  Happy Quilting!

Rhonda's Quilts

Look at this beauty!  Isn't it fun?  Rhonda made this quilt and I quilted "Frisky Feathers" all over it.  This is another version of the 2 + 2 quilt.  I've quilted a few others like this and they all look different.  I love all the bright, happy colors she used.

Here is another quilt she made.  I quilted "Interlocking Squares" on this one.  It is reversible.

Turned out nice.  Thanks for taking a look.
