Fast Forward Quilt

Here is a quilt that I made for myself from one of Jaybird's patterns called "Fast Forward" wtih Terrain fabric from Kate Spain.  Julie Herman of Jaybird quilts has a lot of fun patterns and they are very easy to read and put together.   My next quilt is going to be made with her Ballerina pattern.  I custom machine quilted this with a blooming flower pattern that I do freehand.  I also used two pieces of batting to give it a little more loft.  I absolutely love how it turned out.  I even was able to get the binding stitched down!

The back was so pretty too.  Really loved the "Terrain" fabric line.  So bright and happy.  I have been on vacation all week from my real job and having sew much fun getting some of my own projects completed.  Thanks for stopping by.  Happy quilting!
