Kristen from Stash made this fabulous Tula Pink patten called "Kiss Kiss". I tried to quilt it similar to how the great Angela Walters quilted it for Tula. Thank goodness I just received Angela's new book in the mail so I was able to figure some of her quilting techniques out. If you haven't got the book yet and are interested in free motion quilting I strongly advise you to buy this book. It's so awesome. I also would advise buying Tula Pink's book as Angela did all the quilting in that book too. Tula has some awesome patterns in it. I've made the raindrop quilt and plan on making more of the quilts in her book. The houndstooth quilt is really cool! If only I had more time in the day....any way. Back to this gorgeous quilt that Kristen made. She used the fabric "Night Shade" by Tula Pink. Absolutely love it!
I quilted some blooming flowers in the border....turned out cute. Tula's fabric is so cool....she hides animals and other diferent designs in her fabrics. Love how interesting she makes it. Not your average flowered fabric. This one has skull and cross bones in it and spider webs.
I was really thrilled with how my concentric circles turned out in the black squares. I have admired these done by Angela for some time now.
Thanks for stopping by and thank you Kristen for allowing me to quilt your beautiful quilts for you. I truly enjoy it more than you will ever know. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Happy Quilting!
Teresa
