Kristen's Quilts

Here are some cute quilts that I machine quilted for Kristen from Stash in Walla Walla.  This first one is a pattern by Jaybird called "Dance Floor".  Kristen used the softest fabrics to make this quilt.  I quilted "Diamonds are Forever" all over it.

This second quilt was very modern looking.  I quilted my new favorite pantograph "Honeycomb" on it.  Sorry you are probably getting sick of seeing it but it looks so good on so many quilts.

These both turned out so cute!  Thanks for letting me quilt for you Kristen!  Kristen is a quilting machine.  She makes up several quilts in a month and even finds the time to sew costumes for her daughter's dance recitals.  Amazing the talent this lady has!  Hope you have a happy and safe New Year's Eve.

Fun Stuff

Here are a couple of projects I've been working on over the last month or so.  This first little table runner I made from a tutorial over at Tamarack Shack.  I made it out of a pack of charm squares and some yardarge.  Used my Lil Twister ruler to cut the blocks in the center.  Turned out really cute.  Thanks, Kathy for the great tutorial.  I plan to make this again.  I was able to make two of these runners with one pack of charms.

I made a couple of these cute little table runners with my Quick Curve Ruler that I got over at Sew Kind Of Wonderful.
And of course, I had to catch up on two more of my blocks for the QAL over at Sew Kind of Wonderful.  These blocks are pretty wild.  I hope I like my color choices when I get done.  It's bright and happy so these blocks are very fun to work on.

Well, I hope you are finding some time to sew something.  I'm starting to get back in to my customer quilts now that Christmas is over.  Time to get back to work!  Thanks for stopping by.

Bethannie's Quilt

Here is a quilt I made for a Christmas gift for my son's girlfriend, Bethannie.  I used Tula Pink's "The Birds and the Bee's" fabric with a solid black. This pattern is from Tula's book.  It's called "Houndstooth".  Love how this one came out.  I quilted my new favorite pantograph "Honeycomb" on it.  It really gave it a fun, modern look.

Look at these cool trees from the collection.

And all folded up laying on my quilt table.  Love it so much. It's a shame I have to give it up.  I guess I can't keep all of them.  Hope you had a nice Christmas.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone!  I hope you're finding some time to spend with all of your family. I've been enjoying the last few days with my family and doing a little quilting for myself.  I've had this quilt finished for quite a while.  It was a QAL over at Sew Kind of Wonderful and I've been afraid to quilt it for a long time.  I've been studying all the quilts that Jenny does and loved how she quilted one of hers with a lot of straight lines.  I used that idea and then I used my curved cross hatching ruler to do the 9 patch blocks.  Some of the blocks I quilted swirls in.

Love the pictures I was able to get while on the frame today with the sun coming in.  So beautiful.

Thanks for taking a look today.  Thanks, Jenny for being so creative and making up all of these really cool patterns.  I'm looking forward to her Wedding Ring pattern she is coming up with right now.  Going to be so cool to make with her curved ruler.  I'm currently doing her QAL with traditional blocks made modern with curves.  I think I'll go get caught up on those now.

Have a wonderful Christmas!

Evie's Quilt...another one.

Check out this gorgeous "Dresden Plate" quilt that Evie put together.  The fabrics were a collection of Bonnie and Camille's fabrics. Bliss and Ruby.  Really turned out cute.  I quilted swirls in the black area and some straight line stitching on the dresden plates.  Turned out adorable.

Thanks for letting me quilt this amazing quilt for you Evie.  Really love it!  Happy Quilting.

Venus' Quilt

And here is another quilt for Venus....She's been a busy girl.  This is another gift for another member of her family.  She made the pattern "Shattered" by Tula Pink.  It was made with some flannel and boy was it ever soft.  This is going to be a nice cozy quilt.  She made it large enough to go on a queen size bed.  I quilted "Spiral Squares" on it and I think it was perfect for this quilt.

Thanks for letting me quilt this for you Venus!  I hope everyone is having a good week so far.

Venus' Quilt

Venus has been very busy.  Here is another Christmas gift she has made for someone in her family.  Isn't it calming.  I love the colors and it reminded us of water so I quilted "Bayside" on it.  Love how it turned out.
