I have wanted to share this with you for the last week. I was so excited to go to our State Fair and see how my quilts did. Lookie here....I was thrilled to see they all earned blue ribbons. Here is my Stacks quilt from my weekend with Tula Pink.
My Fast Forward quilt made with a Jaybird pattern.
My Tula Pink "Snow Globes" Night Shade quilt
And my Tula Pink "Rain Drop" Quilt made with Prince Charming.
And several of my customer's quilts earned some blue ribbons too. I was so excited to see their work displayed. The next two are Eva's quilts. Beautiful.
And if you can believe this....Barb's first quilt and she earned a blue ribbon! Yay!
And of course Gayle's quilts...I missed getting pictures of her beautiful lonestar quilts but these next two were done by Gayle. Gorgeous.
I must say that all the quilts at the fair this year were amazing. We happen to have some very talented quilters in our area. The work was just outstanding! I had to drag my husband in for a third time to look at all these fine quilts again. He is such a good sport when it comes to my hobby. I'm very lucky to have such a supportive husband. I'm so happy my quilts are now home safe with me again. I missed them. Hope you're having a good week and getting to sew a little bit!
Thanks for looking!
Teresa
Lovely quilts! Your raindrop quilt looks like a lot of fun. I have some of that fabric and may give it a try. All the quilts are inspiring.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Teresa!!! How nice to be "recognised" for the work you do. I finally got my Angela book, I just have to convince people to try out this modern quilting. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteYour quilts are amazing! I'm so happy for you and understand you wanting them back home:). I haven't cut out my cloudy days quilt yet as I was so inspired by Rhonda's love quilt I started on that. I am having so much fun, and of course wonderful meeting great quilters like you who inspire us all. Great job!!! Venus
