Rain Drop Quilt

I finally got to finish my Rain Drop Quilt.  I made this quilt from The House of Tula Pink book with Prince Charming fabric from the very talented Tula Pink.  The quilter for Tula Pink is Angela Walters and I love how she quilted Tula's version but I wanted to quilt mine a little different.  I randomly added pebbles to the swirls and I love how this turned out.  I've included a lot of pictures so you can see all the fabulous fabrics I used.

Look at the backing fabrics....the Frog Prince.  I really love this!

And this is Bella...she is so happy that she can finally roll on a quilt.  She gets yelled out when she tries to get on customer's quilts.  She was just so happy to be able to play on this quilt.
Here is another project that I've been working on for a while now.  I'm making the "Swoon" quilt by Camille Roskelly at Thimbleblossoms.    Love how this is turning out too.
Sorry for so many pictures but I had to share the beauty of all of these fabrics.  I'm a huge Tula Pink fan.  The quilt I'm making will be out of her "Night Shade" fabric.  Can't wait to start that one but I have to finish Swoon first.  Thanks for stopping by.  Happy Quilting!

Mary's Quilt

This is Mary's quilt.  Her husband helped her pick the fabrics and the pantograph that I quilted on this one.  They are a good team.  This quilt turned out so gorgeous.  The only bad part was I had to send it back home.  I really love all the fabrics in this quilt.  This pantograph is called "Ground Cover".

The back was so pretty too!

Have a wonderful Sunday.

Gayle's Quilt

This is Gayle's quilt.  She asked for some custom quilting and I have to tell you this quilt was put together perfectly.  She asked me to try some larger pebbles in the background areas of the star.  It turned out so neat.  Looks like stones with her fabric.  I quilted some blooming flowers in the outer border.

Thanks for letting me quilt this gorgeous quilt for you Gayle!

Judy's Quilt

Here is Judy's quilt.  This is another customer who made their very own first quilt.  Put together very nicely.  I quilted Paisley Playtime all over it.  She also made the cutest little wall hanging but I failed to get a picture of it before I gave it back.

Here are some Swoon blocks I've been working on for a while now.  I'm going to make a total of 12 blocks so it will fit nicely on our guest bed.  Turning out really nice.
And here is a picture of my faithful assistant....Bella.  She is always under my feet helping me so I don't get lonely.  She has decided she likes to go for walks.  Every night after work I can't put my tennis shoes on fast enough for this little doggie.  When I sit down to put my shoes on she climbs on my back and starts biting my hair to get me to move faster. After a couple of miles I have to carry her for a couple blocks.  She gets tuckered out fast.  Funny the stares you get from people when I'm carrying my little dog.  Ha!  She is just so funny and we are enjoying her so much.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a happy day quilting!

Barb's Quilt

This is Barb's first quilt!  Can you even believe that?  I believe this is her very first sewing project. Her good friend Gayle taught her how to quilt and supervised the making of this gorgeous quilt.  It was put together so perfect.  The batik fabrics are just stunning.   I custom quilted it for her.

Thanks for stopping by.

Janet's Quilt

Here's a quilt that Janet made for your daughter-in-law Kate.  She let Kate pick the pattern and the fabrics and then Kate chose the pantograph "Baptist Fan" for her quilt.  Turned out beautiful.  This quilt was so soft and I just love the fabrics they picked out.  So pretty.

Hope you had a great Monday!  Thanks for taking a look.

Number 5

And here is quilt number 5 for Kristen!  This lady can put these quilts together so fast and they are always put together well.  She is an awesome piecer and wonderful at picking out fabrics.  Here is a quilt that she made from three collections from Moda by Aneela Hoey.  She used Sherbert Pips, Apple and A Walk in the Woods.  She fussy cut some really adorable pictures and featured them in the middle squares.

I quilted "Interlocking Squares" on it and I love how it didn't take away from the cute pictures.  Thanks for letting me quilt for you Kristen. I look forward to the next batch of quilts you send my way.

Have a wonderful Friday and thanks so much for stopping by!

Practicing....

Here is a little quilt that I made from leftover blocks from a larger quilt called "Fast Forward" by Jaybird Quilts.  Her patterns are easy to understand and put together. I wanted to practice this new quilting design that I learned from looking at a picture on one of my favorite blogs Angela Walters Quilting is My Therapy  I learn so much from this awesome quilter and absolutely can't wait for her book to come out.

Now that I did this little quilt I'm going to try my larger quilt with the same pattern.  I absolutely love how this turned out.

Thanks for taking a look.  Happy quilting!

Eva's Quilts

These are Eva's quilts.  She is a new quilter and look at all these quilts she made.  Two of these large size twister quilts.  I quilted spiral squares on the first one and frisky feathers on the second one.

This little quilt she made with the Lil Twister ruler.  It so cute how she made the heart in the center of the quilt.  I quilted arabesque on it.

I love how these turned out.  I think Eva is well on her way to becoming addicted to quilts just like the rest of us!  Thanks for letting quilt these for you Eva.
