Table Runner

Here is another table runner that I made with the quick curve ruler.  This one turned out perfect.  The curves lined up really nice.  I was able to make this entire table runner from only my scraps.  I love it when I can do that.  I want to make a bunch of these and save them for gifts throughout the year.

The last time I took a picture of a table runner  this little squirt wanted in the picture so here she is again.  She went to the vet yesterday for her third round of shots and now she weighs a big whopping 3 pounds 1 ounce.  She is a character.  She bosses us around.  She is so small that I gave her a tupperware lid to use for her food dish and when it's empty she brings it to us and puts it down like "Excuse me, people....my food is empty."  Cracks us up.  We are sure getting a lot of enjoyment out of her.
Here is a close up of the quilting....I do love pebbles.  This runner looks so lovely on the table when the sun is coming in.  Sorry I was at work today so I didn't get a daytime photo but I think you can see the detail.
And here is a sneak peak at what I'm piecing next....I tell you I'm totally addicted to this ruler.  I have so many plans to make more things. It goes together really quickly and is so relaxing to just sit and piece because you don't have to pin.  I just turn on t.v. and sit down and piece away.
Hope you are all having a good week.  I'm waiting for some new pantographs to come so I can get busy on customer quilts.  Oh and a little disclaimer....I don't let my little dog sit on customer quilts...only my own :)

Some Quilts of My Own

Here is a wild quilt I made with my Quick Curve Ruler that I bought from Jenny over at Sew Kind of Wonderful sewkindofwonderful.blogspot.com.  She is starting up a Quilt A Long starting next Thursday...if you haven't got this ruler yet I highly suggest you do.  It is really fun.  I've pulled out a bunch of scraps and plan on making some more table runners.  It doesn't take much fabric and goes together so quick.  Absolutely love it!

I quilted straight lines on it since it is so wild.  Very colorful but I really like how it turned out.
Here is another quilt I've pieced in the last week.  It is a pattern from Jaybird Quilts jaybirdquilts.com.  It went together really fast and I have some left over blocks so I'm going to make a little wall hanging or something with those.

I used the fabric line from Kate Spain "Terrain"  Turned our so pretty.  Can't wait to quilt it up.

Kristen's Quilt

Here is a quilt that Kristen made out of fabrics from Amy Butler's Love collection.  The fabrics were just gorgeous and I love how she used the larger squares to make the fabric the focus.  We decided on "Primrose" for this quilt.

Thanks for taking a look.  I hope you're having a fabulous week.

Twister Quilt

Here is a little quilt that I made with a pack of charm squares using a pattern I found over here on this blog  inspiredbyantiquequilts.blogspot.com  She gave the dimensions so you could make your own template and it was very easy.  I have a ton of these Charm squares just sitting around so I thought it would be fun.

I quilted swirls all over it and I love how it turned out.

Liz's Quilt

Here's a quilt I machine quilted for Liz....She wanted the all over pantograph "Leaves" on it.  Turned out fabulous.  This is queen size so it is going to gorgeous on a bed.

This is a picture of the back of the quilt.
Here is a table runner I made using the Quick Curve Ruler form Jenny over at Sew Kind of Wonderful.  You can purchase her ruler here.  It was really simple to use and she offers free videos on her blog on how to cut, square up and press your blocks.  As you can see mine did not line up perfectly because I didn't follow the directions.  After I re-read them and looked at the video I figured out what I did wrong.  I only squared the block up at the top and not the bottom.  Now I can piece them perfect everytime.  I would really recommend getting this ruler and also buying some of her patterns.  They are gorgeous.  I'm having a ton of fun playing with this new ruler.  It makes cutting and piecing blocks a snap.  Love it!
This little squirt kept trying to get in the pictures so I just decided to take her picture.  She is  now 13 weeks old and weighs 2 pounds 5 ounces.

I quilted pebbles and some figure eights in the curves.

Here is a picture of the back.  I can't wait to make another one of these where the curves match up.  I know I can do so much better on my piecing but this was my first practice piece.

I hope you're having a wonderful day.  I'm home today quilting so I know my day will be fun.  Thanks for looking.

Marilyn's Quilts

Here are some quilts I quilted up for Marilyn.  I quilted Frisky Feathers on this first one.  It was a collection of colorful batiks.

Quilted some Interlocking Squares on this cool Africian Themed quilt.

She asked for Twirly Feathers on this one.  Turned out really nice.

Thanks for letting me quilt for you Marilyn.

Kristen's Love Quilt

This is a Tula Pink pattern Love Quilt.  Kristen asked me to custom quilt it similiar to how the quilter Angela Walters did for  Tula Pink.  I tried my best and I think it turned out amazing.  Angela Walters is an amazing long arm quilter.  Here are lots of pictures.  I couldn't get enough of them.  I quilted lots of pebbles and swirls.

Here is a picture of Bella....she is officially a pocket puppy.  She is in my youngest son's pocket.  Isn't this just a cute picture of her sweet little face.  She is so fun to play with.
Thanks so much for looking and have a Happy New Year!
