Chris' Quilt

This is a quilt I machine quilted for Chris...it was made from the fabric line "Hometown".  She lives in Walla Walla and one of the prints on it say "Walla Walla".  Pretty cool to have such a small town featured on some fabric.  My parents actually grew up in Walla Walla and my brother lives there now with his family.  It is a sweet little town.

I quilted swirls all over it.

The backing fabric was so pretty....I love how this quilt turned out.  Thanks for letting me quilt for you Chris!

Laura's Quilt

Here is a quilt that my cousin Laura made from a bunch of scraps.  I sent her scraps and I think she collected some other scraps plus of course her own scraps.  Turned out gorgeous!  She was getting really frustrated making this but she kept on with it and look at it now.  I quilted "Sprial Squares" on it.  She is going to put this on her bed.

This is the backing fabric....just the most beautiful birds on it.
A little piece was added to the back and it really was a great accent.
Thanks for taking a look....Thank you Laura for letting me quilt for you.  I'm so glad you stuck it out and finished it.

Gifts for Christmas

Here is a quilt I made for some good friend's of ours, Dave and Diane.  We have been frends with them for about 23 years or so.  They are great people and we now consider them part of our family.  Diane is a gardener and she liked this quilt when I made myself one awhile back so I decided to surprise her with one of her own.  She loved it!

I quilted pebbles in the leaf areas and then feathers in the borders.  I love how it turned out.

Here is another one of these "Ritzy Cracker" quilts.  It is a pattern from the Tulip Patch.  Dave and Diane asked if I would make one of these for a special friend's granddaughter, Olivia.  I have made three of these now out of the fabric line "Sherbert Pips".  Turned out adorable.
I quilted "Dippin' Daisies" on it.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.  We had a very nice day.

Cheri's Quilt

Here is a quilt that my sister in law made for her boss for Christmas.  I'm sure he will be thrilled with this quilt.  Cheri did a great job piecing it and I quilted "Spiral Squares" on it.

I hope you're getting all your shopping done....I'm almost ready but still need to wrap some packages.

Kristen's Snow Globes Quilt

Here is a quilt that Kristen made that is called "Snow Globes" by Tula Pink.  She used Tula Pink's newest fabric line called "Prince Charming".  I custom quilted it for her and it turned out so amazing.

I quilted some swirls and some pebbles.

I get to deliver these to Kristen this week....can't wait to get all of her quilts back to her.  It's always so fun to find out how my customer's like their quilts after being quilted.  This was a really fun quilt to quilt.  I absolutely love these fabrics.  Thanks for letting me quilt this for you Kristen.

Meet Bella

Meet the new additon to our family.....her name is Bella and she is a Morkie (Yorkie/Maltese).  She weighs 1 lb 9 ounces and is so much fun.  She hops around the house like a bunnny and we have to be so careful not to step on her because she is so tiny.  Bella is helping us mend our broken hearts after losing our Shih Tzu, Chloe on December 4.  She was 13 years old and such a great dog.  My son didn't want a new dog yet because he was very loyal to Chloe....he finally gave in to go and look at dogs but when we talked about getting her he said she couldn't play with any of Chloe's stuff.  So last Sunday, my husband and I had to go out and get all the necessary puppy supplies.  New crate, toys, puppy food, potty pads.

Here she is being ferocious and biting her brother's finger.

As you can see, Kyler has decided that Bella is okay.  We let him name her and they are becoming good friends.

Well, on to some quilts.....her is another quilt by Kristen.  I quilted Frisky Feathers on it.  She doesn't like traditional feathers on her quilts but she mentioned she liked this pattern so I tried it out.  I hope you like it, Kristen.  I think it turned out beautiful on this quilt.

Are you ready for Christmas yet?  Well, I'm not....I best get busy.

Thanks for looking.

My Little Quilting Buddy

My little quilting buddy went to heaven yesterday.  Her name was Chloe and she was my best quilting buddy.  She just loved to be around us.  Chloe was 13 years old and died from kidney failure.

Here she is with her brother.  They were very good friends.
This is what she liked to do....beg for goodies.  She was very good at it and you really couldn't resist her when she was doing this.
Here she is kicking back on the bed....very spoiled but oh so loved and missed.
We will miss you my sweet little Chloe.  I know she is heaven now and not hurting anymore so that makes it a little easier to handle.
